Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel reviewed various developmental projects at Bishalgarh in Sepahijala district of Tripura on September 13, 2023.
Patel met with officials from the state government and central government to discuss the progress of the various projects. She also took stock of the challenges being faced in implementing the projects.
Patel laid the foundation stone for a new industrial park and a food processing unit in Bishalgarh. She also inaugurated a new road and a water supply project.
Patel said that the government is committed to helping Tripura increase its exports. She urged the state government to focus on developing the infrastructure needed to support exports.
Patel said that the government will provide financial assistance to Tripura to help it implement the various developmental projects. She also said that the government will work with the state government to attract investment to Tripura.
Patel met with local stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, farmers, and traders, to discuss their needs and concerns. She assured them of the government's support in their efforts to develop the region.
Patel inaugurated an exhibition of local products, including handicrafts, textiles, and food items. She encouraged people to buy these products and support the local economy.
Patel addressed a public gathering and spoke about the government's plans for the development of Tripura. She also interacted with the people and answered their questions.
Patel left Tripura after a two-day visit. She expressed satisfaction with the progress of the developmental projects and assured the people of the government's continued support.
